After nearly three decades of marriage, Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness have decided to go their separate ways.
The couple issued a joint statement announcing their separation after 27 years together. “We have been blessed with an amazing marriage over these years. Now our path is taking a turn as we pursue individual growth, though as always, our family remains our top priority,” they shared.
“With gratitude, love and kindness, we embark on this new chapter. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this transition,” they continued.
Just last April, Jackman posted a loving tribute to Furness on their anniversary, showing no outward signs of trouble. But now the longtime pair have determined it is time to split while maintaining compassion and grace. They gave thanks for understanding during this personal time for their family.
