The reunion episode of Love is Blind season 5 finally dropped on Netflix, bringing the cast back together in the studio to rehash the relationship drama that viewers saw unfold in Houston 18 months ago.
The Long-Awaited Reunion
Only one couple that met in the pods said “I do” at the altar – James Milton Johnson IV (Milton) and Lydia Velez Gonzalez.
They joined their fellow castmates including Izzy Zapata, Jared Pierce (JP), Stacy Snyder, Aaliyah Cosby, Taylor Rue, Johnie Maraist, and Chris Fox to discuss the aftermath of the social experiment. Emotions were still running high even though everyone had moved on.
A Mix of Heartbreak and Triumph
Put on the spot about saying “no” at the altar, Stacy revealed she had wanted to say yes to Izzy. After taking time apart, it became clear they needed a fresh start. This upset Izzy so much that he didn’t speak to Stacy for a year until they ran into each other at a bar and cleared the air.
In happier news, Milton and Lydia confirmed they are still happily married a year later, even renewing their vows with a second wedding in Puerto Rico.
When Fairy Tales Don’t Come True
Johnie and Chris appeared solid at the season-ending barbecue as they argued with Izzy and Stacy. But in reality, that event was one of the last times they saw each other.
Chris pursued another relationship without telling Johnie, leaving her shocked when she found out through a friend weeks later. While Chris admitted he handled it poorly, he’s happy now living with a new partner.
As he put it, “It doesn’t always end in a fairy tale.” Even though the relationships didn’t all have storybook endings, the reunion allowed for reflection and closure.

Meanwhile, Aaliyah shared that she has fully moved on from her failed connection with Uche and is now dating someone new she met outside the pods.
Despite the heartbreak and dashed hopes, the cast was able to gain perspective on their time together and what they learned about themselves.
