Neem Karoli (also known as Neeb Karori), a Hindu Sadhu, was born in 1900 in Uttar Pradesh in a Brahman family. At the age of 11 after getting married, he left home for wandering, which shows that his affection for spirituality was from a very young age.

Since childhood, he had no preference for materialism, and devotion and spiritualism were the natural inclinations. Babaji accepted but with one condition that he would not treat any saint or ascetic in the future like this. As soon as Babaji boarded, the train got started.

It is described that once, a deaf and dumb boy started to answer when Babaji began a conversation with the former. There is also a story that a doctor came to visit him, Babaji told him to distribute the sweets to all. The doctor curiously wanted to know why then Babaji explained that his wife had already delivered a child at home, the news the doctor was unaware till then.
